An eleven day small group tour through South Eastern Anatolia exploring the hidden treasures and archaeology of prehistoric, ancient and early Christian Turkey

Antakya, ancient Antioch, the custodian of a collection of great Roman art;
The museum at Gaziantep storing Roman mosaics from the city of Zeugma, rescued from the rising waters of the River Euphrates Dam;
The ancient Hellenistic site at Arsemaia and the Severus Septimius Roman bridge at Cendere;
The city of Urfa, birthplace of Abraham with its carp pools and oriental bazaar and the nearby pre-historic temple site of Gobeklitepe;
The towns of Midyat and Mardin and the Syrian Christian monasteries at Ha and Deyrulzeferan;
Hasankeyf, the ancient town threatened with inundation from the River Tigris Dam project;
The black basalt walled city of Diyarbakir.
